Calabar Carnival festival in Nigeria, also tagged “Africa’s Biggest Street Party” has become the number one tourist destination for Nigerians and tourists all over the world.

Cross River state governor, Prof Ben Ayade has described the Calabar Carnival as the melting point of African hospitality and the beginning of unity.

The Calabar Carnival in the Cross River State of Nigeria has been the most consistent Festival in Nigeria. Every December, visitors from all over the world converge in Calabar to witness the display of Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage in the one-week event.
